Our Story

La Kiddy Preschool was founded in 2017 out of a shared dream between two passionate educators — Ms. Ong Liling and Ms. Low Pei Leng.

As mothers, teachers, and lifelong learners, we realized that in Malaysia, education often emphasizes academic achievement, but many schools do not provide a space where children can also grow in confidence, creativity, and personal development. We wanted to change that.

Together, we built La Kiddy Preschool — a place where academic excellence and holistic child development go hand in hand. Here, children are encouraged not only to learn, but to explore, express themselves, and build the foundation to thrive in an ever-changing world.

Our Founder

Ms. Ong has dedicated her career to nurturing children through the performing arts and early education. She believes that every child is unique, and that talents in music, dance, and drama can inspire children to also excel academically. Her vision is to raise well-rounded learners who shine both in the classroom and on stage.

With a strong background in both analytical thinking and child psychology, Ms. Low leads La Kiddy Preschool with future-focused insights. She strives to create a joyful, supportive learning environment where children feel safe to express themselves, communicate effectively, and explore with curiosity. Her philosophy is to nurture resilient, innovative, and adaptable learners who are prepared for a future shaped by technology and global change.
